We had an amazing time at the 4th annual Phillyforce conference held on Wednesday, May 4th, 2016! Over 250 people packed the Quorum at the Science Center, near Drexel University to geek out on all things Salesforce. Ami Assayag opened up the event with some remarks about the Philly Salesforce community, thanking everyone for their contributions.
Keynote speaker, Mike Kreaden, Sr. Director Startup Relations, Salesforce, took everyone down memory lane into the history of Salesforce, from startup, to one of the largest software companies in the world. Michael Fauscette, Chief Research Officer, G2 Crowd, gave us perspective on how the tech industry, and analysts, view Salesforce. Ohad Idan, Sr. Enterprise Applications Manager, I.D. Systems, Inc, gave an entertaining and informative talk about ERP and Manufacturing in the Cloud. Khushwant Singh, Director of Product Management,Community Cloud & Files, Salesforce, gave us a vision of building communities with the aid of templates. And Mary Scotten, Mary Scotton, Developer Evangelist, Salesforce, illuminated the Phillyforce crowd with the power of Ligtning Out, the ability to surface Salesforce Lightning components in non-Salesforce applications.

But the greatest part of the event, made possible by Phillyforce sponsors, Salesforce, Apttus, Internet Creations, Jitterbit, and Applango, were the people who attended and shared their Salesforce experiences with one another. We've gathered some pictures and things shared by Phillyforce attendees below. We can't wait for Phillyforce five!

"It was heart-warming to see such a vibrant and diverse group of people gather to learn and network around the Salesforce platform and ecosystem. Mike Kreaden’s “Back to the sforce” presentation was a ton of fun and very informative. All of the subsequent presentations built on that foundation, and everyone left the conference richer in knowledge and community than when they arrived! I’m blown away with how exponentially the Philly Salesforce community has grown over the years, and I look forward to seeing how it continues to flourish in the years to come!"

What a great day for the Philadelphia area Salesforce community! There was a little bit of everything for everyone from a great lineup of presenters through out the day and sponsors that made the entire day possible by providing the space, breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and let's not forget our first official event bags! My favorite part of these events is seeing the sharing of success stories between our members; whether it's their personal achievements on the platform with projects or sharing how they're growing professionally. This excitement continues to grow the overall success of Salesforce in the Philadelphia area.
